Emma Amos
Most Recent Role: Julie Davies on The Last Detective
Birthplace: Newcastle-Under-Lyme (Staffs, UK)
Birthday:
8-18-1967
British actress Emma Amos is equally at home in straight and comic roles, but it is for the latter that she is best known. After doing bit parts in various Brit dramas, her first and most famous starring role came opposite Nicholas Lyndhurst as Yvonne Sparrow in the sitcom "Goodnight Sweetheart", where she overcame the handicap of taking over an already-established role (always a tricky position for any actor to be in) to become just as well-loved as her predecessor. More recently she has appeared with Peter Davidson in the hit comedy drama series "The Last Detective" for ITV1.

Scarred faces: Secrets & Lies

Before she became the second Yvonne Sparrow in Goodnight Sweetheart, Emma Amos had a small part in Secrets & Lies as the ‘Girl with a Scar’: a car accident victim who comes to have her photograph taken for her compensation claim.

Christine Blundell was the makeup artist on the movie.
